Dr. Olson is a native of Minnesota, having lived most of his life in Bloomington. He attended St. Olaf College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Upon completion, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Masters in Mathematics. Soon after, he attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree with highest honors. There, Dr. Olson received many prestigious awards, both for his academic strengths and for authoring scientific research journal articles. After his dental training, he practiced as an associate dentist in Bloomington. He joined Serenity Dental Arts as an associate in 2004.

Dr. Olson’s wife Tami taught fifth grade for eleven years but now cares for their son Peter and daughter Ingrid. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Olson enjoys coaching track and field, tutoring students in mathematics, and spending time with his family.
